    1. There are opportunities to volunteer on Saturdays at the shelter. All shelter volunteers must go through a brief training before volunteering. The next volunteer training is on Wednesday, June 14th at 7 pm. It will be held at the Franklin County Animal Shelter at 351 T. Kemp Rd. in Louisburg. You don’t have to sign up for the training, just come. We meet in the lobby.
